Sketch the work area, stations, fixtures, and equipment. Mark how objects enter and leave, where people need access, and which areas cannot be obstructed. Photos or a simple layout can make the brief easier to discuss.

List the connections
Identify the tools, sensors, machines, and software that would need to exchange information. Record required interfaces without assuming that a particular device or protocol is supported. Robonova compatibility details are still being defined.

Plan for variation
Think about missing items, changed part orientation, different batches, and interruptions. A useful application brief describes what should happen when the normal sequence cannot continue, as well as when everything goes as expected.

Make validation part of the plan
